A total of 3,243 films from 111 countries has entered!

The submission to 2022 Busan International Short Film Festival has now closed. A total of 3,243 films from 111 countries has entered.

A total of 2,548 films from 111 different countries were submitted for the International Competition category, and 695 films were submitted

for the Korean Competition category.

The overall percentage of entries by genre is as follows: 69% Fiction, 11% Documentary, 9% Animation, and 11% Experimental.

The finalists announcement for the Competition will be released on February 24 on the official website. (www.bisff.org)

Selected films will be screened during the festival, which will take place April 27- May 2, 2022, where they will compete for 10 different

award categories. We sincerely appreciate all of the filmmakers who submitted their films to 2022 BISFF.
