Korean short films in festivals abroad
As a member of the Short Film Conference, BISFF will host a roundtable intended for filmmakers, distributors and festival managers.
South Korea routinely produces around 1,000 short films per year: how many of them get submitted to film festivals abroad? How do these films fare in festivals’ selections? Do their directors often travel to these events? Representatives of four festivals from three different continents discuss what they have come to expect from Korean short films.
